Arriving by land or seas, guests have their choice of sitting in the cozy interior dining room decorated with local art and fresh flowers or the enclosed patio with a nautical theme and spectacular view. The Seaside Shanty, located in an historic waterfront building, has been a popular dining establishment in Chester Basin for over 15 years.
Whether you are craving fish, lobster or seafood chowders, they are our specialty and sure to please!! Our talented local cooks are said to prepare the best on the South Shore and beyond! Although known for exceptional seafood dishes, we also have some great choices for the land lovers. To top off any meal you choose, our desserts are all made in house, including the ever popular Blueberry Grunt and are sure to satisfy!
